Wait!! whaat you also collab with visual artists? re: posted painting - feel free to get in touch if you need any Afropresentism surreal printmaking weeeee! no pressure offer obvi. So fun that you include visual arts though!!!
well I've been collaborating with Alexandra, who is my wife! She has done some amazing painting, no specifically for this but I have used them anyway (with her permission). I would love to include some of your art!
oooo amazing!!! So fun that your wife is a painter! Very cool, a music and visual arts family, must never be boring! Yes, please feel free to use something if you see it and can be useful for you. my website is under construction at the moment but there are a few things posted on IG.
I have played with images of boomboxes, made a fun wooden sculpture series of them (selling silence).
Years ago I painted a homage series of Indian ink and watercolour draws featuring American hip hop artists, blues, r&b musicians for an exposition. I would love to do the same for electronic artists and create a visual mapping of all those histories. I am dreaming of ways to participate in the V&A East 'Music is Black" show/museum store! A very fun hustle even if I fail lol.
I can't remember have you ever written about Marc Mac from 4hero's friend King Britt and Blacktronika?
