To add here, nobody celebrates the role the sparse 707 and 727 programming plays in Acid Tracks, which contrast beautifully with Bam Bam's bung-it-all-in perc in Give it To Me. I don't think anyone topped Phuture's use of the 7-machines until Dave Clarke did Thunder. As for the 303, there's a great lineage of sparse, squelchy acid that runs from '87 all the way through to Hardfloor that's funky as hell. After Wink, screechiness and distortion becomes the order of the day, ending the 90s with that 'London Acid City' free party snare-rolls-and-screeches identikit genre. That said, Misjah and Tim's Access still blows the doors off any dancefloor, even if snobs like me would much rather be listening to a UR alter-ego on some wildly conceptual sci-fi acid mission.

I would argue that Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, and Tin Man have all done new and interesting work with the 303. There might be more. None of their stuff sounds like the Acid Tracks template you rightly point out.
